2024 Winter Programs


During the off season, the MYC Program Committee invites experts to present boating topics such as chartering, engine maintenance, cruising, and safety. All programs are FREE and open to MYC members and the general public. Winter programs offer a great way to learn something new, meet fellow boaters, and stay engaged with the Club during the off-season. All programs are Wednesday evenings at the MYC starting at 7pm. Doors open at 6:45 pm. Below is a summary of our 2024 Winter Programs.

    Jud Smith will present his go-fast tips for sail trim that can help the beer-can racer to the more competitive sailor improve boat speed.     Scott Edwards is and has been an avid and very productive sport fisherman in local waters for many years. He is an active member of Maddie's Anglers and has organized and led many fishing tournaments. He will share his tips related to bait, tides, depths, and other tips of how to catch striped bass.
