Galley

The MYC Galley is run by caterers K/C 2 and serves a “Coastal Cuisine” Menu > from Thursday to Sunday. Dining on the deck overlooking Marblehead Harbor on a warm summer evening is casual and a very pleasant experience! Members are not allowed to bring in any outside food or snacks during Galley operation hours. During busy times, the Galley will implement a 90-minute table time to accommodate guests who are waiting (please be courteous of your fellow members waiting). For members on the go, call the Galley at 781-631-9772 to order take-out for quickly prepared meals to bring to your boat. For more information on Galley Policies, see the MYC House Rules >.

Galley Hours (opening May 26):  

Thursdays, 4:00 – 9:00 PM beginning June 15

Fridays 4:00 – 9:00 PM May 26 to June 16, then 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Sundays, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (or 9:00 PM, if business permits)

Holiday Hours:

Sunday, May 28, Memorial Day Cookout 12:00 – 3:00 PM

Monday, May 29, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Juneteenth, Monday, June 19, 11:00 AM—9:00 PM

July 4th Weekend: July 4 open for breakfast and lunch then close at 3:00 PM to set up for 5:00 PM Fourth of July Cookout

Labor Day: Monday, Sept 4, last day of official season unless notified.

 

Food Card

MYC Membership dues include a $75 Food Card charge that entitles the Member to a Galley purchase credit that reflects this value. Food cards may be presented to the MYC Galley for a food purchase credit during normal Galley operating hours from early June through early September. Members may transfer their Food Card balance to another member during the current season. The Food Card credit may NOT be applied toward gratuities.

Grill Nights

Members may use the Club grills located on the deck when the Galley is not open. Please keep the area cleaned after using the grills. MYC also hosts special Grill Nights. See Club Activities > for dates.

BYOB

MYC is a BYOB Club and members and their guests can bring their own adult beverages. For more information on the BYOB policy, see the MYC House Rules >.

Parking

There is public parking between the clubhouse and the Marblehead Trading yard and street parking nearby. Please be respectful of our neighbors. There is a drop off space at the front entrance for loading and unloading gear and passengers. On weekends, the Marblehead Municipal Light Department allows public parking in the section of their parking lot facing the harbor.
