2026 Winter Programs

During the off season, the MYC Program Committee invites experts to present interesting topics such as boat engine maintenance, cruising, and photography. All programs are FREE and open to MYC members and the general public alike. Winter programs offer a great way to learn something new, meet fellow members, and stay engaged with the Club during the off-season. All programs are at the MYC starting at 7pm. Doors open at 6:45 pm. Below is a summary of our 2025 Winter Programs.

  • Shipwrecks of Salem Sound

    Ray Bates will present shipwrecks of Salem Sound and the Northshore. Ray has written two books documenting 1200 shipwrecks north of Boston. He will entertain questions following his presentation.

    Please join Doug Raponi on a tour of California's tiki heritage and how it embedded itself in American culture. If you are a fan of tiki drinks, Disney parks, Chinese-American restaurants, or simply shop at Trader Joe's, you will learn why tiki culture exploded and still thrives today.
